Access to English language and learning support ( ELLS)
Access a module on Oasis Plus which provides guidance on academic writing skills.
To access ELLS on Oasisplus:
1) Go to http://www.mdx.ac.uk/24-7/oasisplus/index.htm#access
2)Follow the log-on instructions
3) Click on the 'English language and Learning support module.
In late January you will be meeting on line with Gillian Lazar who is one of the ELLS lecturers and you will be able to ask Gillian any questions you might have about specific issues.
In the meantime do explore this excellent information in the intervening weeks and access the module which provides gudance on academic writing skills such as:
organising and structuring your writing
academic style
use of grammar
I think this will help answer a lot of questions.
